Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's history adds character to the spacious and clean rooms over 100 years old, though a funny odor required an additional room fee. Service was exceptional, especially with the helpful staff and interesting ghost tour. While the location was gorgeous, some room features needed maintenance, and the dining experience varied in quality.
The hotel was not what I expected based on the quality listed on the website. The rooms were not made up when we returned from a day out but had a private balcony, which was a nice touch. The service was wonderful and very accommodating overall, although there was a mix-up with an order for birthday strawberries and wine. The location felt very accommodating and helpful, offering swings for both adults and kids, yet the back porch had a lot of flies. The dining experience was not complimentary with the price but incredibly delicious, even if there was an unexpected cost at checkout for breakfast.
My stay at the Crescent Hotel was a mixed experience. While the dinner served was excellent, the room was shabby and smelled of smoke despite being non-smoking. Unfortunately, the hotel was going to be closed during our visit, but the service was top-notch.
